Don't be confused by the gymnastics venue. We won't be doing any acrobatics, but our hoops will be flying! Join us for an evening of advanced exploration of the art of letting go. Jumping, tossing, and rolling our hoops, wedgies and escalator transitions, and dynamic sequences, we'll be letting our hoop's velocity guide it around our bodies and the beautiful gymnastics space.
We will be team teaching through the night so you'll get a solid balance of each of our techniques for letting go, and reconnecting to your hoop's movement with ease and flow.
While this workshop is designed for the intermediate and advanced hula hooper, beginners are welcome to join us. Wi...th two instructors we can offer extra instruction to those who don't have as much flight time with these techniques, and it is always great for the new hooper to have a glimpse of what's to come!

Nick Minton
Nick is about to hit the road on his 2015 tour across America which will include a stop in all 50 states. While his tour is primarily focused on hoop dance and flow, he also teaches slack lining and multi-prop manipulation. Wanting to encourage teamwork and collaboration in the hooping community, he seeks to partner with other instructors along the way to create collaborative workshops and partner hoop skills.

Pinto Bella (Katie "Pinto" LeBrun)
Katie "Pinto" has been touring the country with hula hoops and yoga since last summer. She is based in the Boston area from May-August, and spends the rest of the year teaching in places with less snow. Also a yoga instructor, musician, and dancer, Katie "Pinto" pulls inspiration from all movement arts in her approach to the hoop.
